The injuries keep on piling for the Boston Bruins.

The team who is already without the services of Patrice Bergeron and David Backes up front just lost another piece of the puzzle.

The Bruins announced the team will be without center Noel Acciari for the next six weeks after the forward went down on opening night after blocking a shot during the second frame on a penalty kill.

The forward had surgery on his left index finger Acciari who played 29 games last year with the B’s is an integral part of the penalty kill unit. this is most certainly a tough blow to the team’s grit line of Acciari/Riley Nash and Austin Czarnik who’s style is reminiscing of the Thorton/Campbell/Paille combo.

The team’s next tilt is on Monday afternoon when they host the Colorado Avalanche at 1 p.m.
