It was an ugly game all around for Northeastern on Sunday in the PK80 Invitational.
The Huskies were outshot, outrebounded and outmanned in an 80-55 loss to Ohio State on the road.
Northeastern was held to just nine points in the first 14:47 of this one. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes pumped in 36 points to by 27.
The Huskies trailed 47-17 at the break. Northeastern, despite outscoring the Buckeyes, albeit mainly their bench, 38-33 in the second half, stood no change.
Donnell Gresham Jr., who was the only member of his team to reach double-digit points, scored 16.
Northeastern committed 16 turnovers to Ohio State’s nine in the loss.
The Huskies – losers of two straight – look to get back into the win column on Thursday at 3 p.m. against Utah State (3-2).
