Holy Cross took an eight-point lead into the final 1:03, but a 6-0 Wildcats run made it a 58-56 game with 34 seconds to go.
After a UNH foul, Caleb Green sunk one of two free throws, enhancing Holy Cross’ lead to 59-56.
The Wildcats’ Jordan Reed had a good look at the game-tying 3, but came up short, and a pair of Matt Zignorski free throws sealed the Holy Cross win.
The Crusaders connected on 11 3-pointers, four of which came from Butler, in the victory.
