Tuesday’s game against one-win Columbia had the making of a letdown game for Boston College, which was three days removed from beating previously No. 1 Duke.
However, the Eagles made sure that wasn’t the case.
BC forced the Lions into 17 turnovers and held them to 41.5 percent shooting to claim an 81-66 victory.
Jerome Robinson picked up where he left off, canning 21 points, while Jordan Chatman added 20 to pace the Eagles, who led 43-35 at the break.
BC led by as much as 20 on two separate occasions in the second half en route to victory.
The Eagles will remain home, where they’re 6-0, for a game against Central Connecticut State (5-5) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
