UMass Lowell Defeated by Vermont 88-77

UMass Lowell fell to Vermont 88-77 on Thursday.

The River Hawks have now dropped seven of their last eight contests with the loss.

It was the second straight game the River Hawks never held a lead.

With 7:32 remaining, Rinardo Perry cut UML’s deficit to 65-63 with a 3-pointer, but Vermont responded with an 8-2 run to go up by eight and never looked back.

Jahad Thomas led the River Hawks with 30 points and Perry added 15.

UML continues America East play Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Hartford (8-8, 1-1).
